Short review On Portait of God

 Portrait of God is a short horror film which is written, directed and edited by Dylan Clark and starring Sydney Brumfield as Mia Reilly.

Watching this movie truly made me scared how the voices and atmosphere blended . The scenes are created with no sudden movements only careful pacing of the story line.

This movie has a religious girl preparing for a presentation about a black painting which is when seen by many seemed to be able to give consistent descriptions on the appearance of god. While some still don't see anything. 

Mia says it is their faith in God that allows him to appear before them in the painting.

The description were quite uncanny to imagine. As she continues with her presentation in the dark room there seemed to be the presence of another.

As Mia turns off the projector. The god from the painting As described was in flesh and slowly approaches her. Mia clenches on the cross she's wearing hoping to be saved by the caring God she believes in but what if the god we believe in  is truly terrifying and is the one standing before her .

The way everything unfolds in this short film very smoothly and giving the chills with suspense of every scene is truly a wonder.

Portrait of God is a true master piece and deserves everyone's attention.

The movie is made with great detail making it truly terrifying with no jump scares only careful story pacing and skillful execution.

Watching it again will make it scarier as your mind will pick up more details that you might have missed the first time. I think its truly impressive to add such great amount of detail and making it standout subtly  giving the creeps to the viewers.

I recommend everyone to watch this movie if you are interested in filmmaking or a horror fan.
